On Wednesday, September 21st the David Davis Mansion board of directors and other contributors had the pleasure of dedicating a special bench to Dr. Marcia Young for all her amazing work on our sesquicentennial book, The David Davis Mansion, 1872-2022: 150 Years at Clover Lawn. What Marcia originally believed to be a business meeting was instead a suprise party that included friends, cake and sparkling cider, and a beautiful bench with a plaque in her name. Please join us in thanking her for this fantastic accomplishment, and for her years of service to the mansion in endless ways. The next time you visit us, be sure to enjoy a rest in this new seating area, which is located directly to the left of our visitor's center entrance.
